Sr. Linux System Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Linux System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of Linux servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, ︁︀︂︃︃︁︂︇︁︂︈and implement corrective measures
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable Linux infrastructure
Deploy and configure virtualization solutions (e.g., XCP-ng, KVM)
Deploy, configure and manage various solutions based on (Nginx, HA-Proxy, Keepalived, GlusterFS, ElasticSearch, GrayLog, PostgreSQL, Redis)
Implement and enforce security best practices to protect systems from vulnerabilities and threats
Backup and recovery procedures
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux systems and infrastructure
Participate in IT projects, contributing expertise and technical guidance
Assist in the planning, implementation, and testing of new systems and upgrades
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

Nice to have:

Knowledge ︊︍︎︂️︃︌︈︂︆︄︅︁︁︎︌︈︂︇︍︈︆︅️︊︄︈︌︊︎︂︎of monitoring tools (ELK stack, CheckMK, Nagios, etc.)
Understanding of application code release management and automation
Experience with CI/CD tools and concepts
Running Docker and Kubernetes in production
Knowledge of Azure environments
Ability to work independently on the task at hand
